ClarifiStaffing Solutions is looking for a Special Education Teacher tojoin our team ofeducators.

Responsiblefor working with children who have disabilities including cognitiveemotional or physical disabilities at a middle school.

Teachesdisabled youth life skills and basic literacy and modifies thegeneral education curriculum to meet the childsneeds.

PrimaryResponsibilitiesinclude :

• Teachdisabled children who have mild to moderatedisabilities.
• Instructstudents at the middle schoollevel.
• Modifytraditional education curriculum to meet childsneeds.
• Assistchildren with specific learning disabilities speech or languageimpairments emotional disturbance multiple disabilities hearingimpairments orthopedical impairments visual impairments autismcombined deafness and blindness traumatic braininjury.

Requirements

• Provenexperience as a Special Education Teacher or relevantrole
• Experienceworking with children with a wide range ofdisabilities
• BScin Special Education; MSc is aplus
• Musthave an Illinois PEL with special education endorsement(LBS1)
• Mustbe able to work up to 37.5 hours per week through the end of theschoolyear.
